Privacy policy
Your workouts come first. At launch the app works fully offline with no account. Optional cloud and club features are planned — this policy covers both today and when they ship.
In plain English
- Offline at launch — presets, custom workouts, programs, and history stay on your device. No sign-in required.
- No ads during workouts — optional support ads never run during an active timer or fitness test.
- Tip jar is optional — Google Play handles payment; we only receive purchase confirmation.
- Analytics is opt-in — off by default in the EU/UK/Switzerland until you choose otherwise.
- Crash reports — anonymous diagnostics via Firebase Crashlytics (no account name attached).
On your device
- Workout definitions, session history, fitness test results, and settings are stored locally in an encrypted Room database.
- Audio cues and timer state run offline. No network is required to train.
Optional cloud (when enabled)
Not available in the initial app release. When shipped, signed-in users may optionally sync personal workouts, history, and club data to Firebase Firestore.
- AI Coach requests will go to Google Cloud Functions; prompts are not used to train public models.
Advertising & consent
- Ads are opt-in only and never shown during workouts or fitness tests.
- In the EEA/UK/CH, Google UMP consent is requested before personalized ads load.
- AdMob may collect device identifiers when you enable support ads. See Google's privacy policy.
Analytics
Firebase Analytics is disabled until you opt in (required in EU/UK/CH). Events are aggregated and do not include workout content.
Your rights
You can delete local data in Settings. When accounts ship, you may revoke cloud sync or request account deletion.
